Gone Fishing!

The Troop added another had an unforgettable memory to the never ending bucket list of activities. The charted boat of choice was the Ocean Eagle. Scouts and Scouters casted their lines in hopes of catching something.

Well, a variety of fish were caught, including several baby sharks! Did they sing the “Baby Shark”theme song?🙂. This trip was definitely a blast filled with fond memories and friendship.

Philmont Crew

Several Scouts & Scouters went to the Philmont Scout Ranch during the Summer for the annual Philmont trek in New Mexico. The crew of 11 put in over 50 miles spanding a week. They had to hike up and down mountains while one of them was at least well over 10,000 feet above sea level and the other, roughly at 9,000 feet. Gladly, the Philmont Crew came back home safe and sound! For Scouts and Scouters who haven’t made the trek yet, definitely put it on your scouting bucket list!!

The ceremony is a reminder of patriots who sacrificed themselves for the freedom we have each and everyday.

Josh’s Eagle Project

If you didn’t get a chance to volunteer for Joshua’s project, it was pretty interesting. Josh installed sun sail shades behind the Parish Office at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Denbigh. The 1st phase was digging, pouring concrete, and installing foundation frames to create the foundations for two sun sail poles. The 2nd phase was installing the poles, mounting the sails to the building and attaching the sun shade sails to the poles to finish off the project.
