Sixteen acoustical soundboards were refabricated and installed in Peninsula Catholic’s Gym. There was a total of 124 service hours completed on this project. The object of the project was to reduce echoing in the gym. The soundboards have had a huge effect in the gym and the school really appreciates the troop and what we did for them. The troop participation played a major factor and the hard work of the boys helped this project run smoothly. (-William)

There was unstable weather, so we camped in a stable. When the weather cleared out, our SPL and ASPL lead us on a hike. The road to Old Rag was flooded so we hiked the horse trails. Try this calculation: 2,000 steps equals 1 mile. How many miles did we hike, if we took approximately 22,000 steps?
The SPL and ASPL, used the EDGE method to teach scouting skills including Firem’n Chip and Toten Chip.
A BIG thank you to William, our AWESOME SPL, for your patient leadership while everyone took a turn at cooking for rank advancement.
Let’s welcome Troop 242’s newest Scout, Evan! This is his big day; he earned his AOL and bridged in the same meeting. Give him a big hand!
White water rafting and camping trip in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia. Two new scouts earned their Firem’n Chit.
