A scout may decide to attend summer camp to earn merit badges or nights camped for rank advancement. He may be motivated to attend to meet other scouts and live for the week communing with nature in a tent he didn’t have to pitch! Camp lends itself to leadership skill building, living the patrol method, and good old fashion fun; call it a mini-vacation. Older and higher ranking scouts may feel that they have “Been there. Done that.” Perhaps the idea of a NEW adventure will rekindle the scout summer camp fire.

Christopher said: The project was a huge success. Thank you for everyone who came out. We had a total of 125 service hours. The church loved them and they have already been used multiple times. Thank you!

Sixteen acoustical soundboards were refabricated and installed in Peninsula Catholic’s Gym. There was a total of 124 service hours completed on this project. The object of the project was to reduce echoing in the gym. The soundboards have had a huge effect in the gym and the school really appreciates the troop and what we did for them. The troop participation played a major factor and the hard work of the boys helped this project run smoothly. (-William)
