There was unstable weather, so we camped in a stable.  When the weather cleared out, our SPL and ASPL lead us on a hike.  The road to Old Rag was flooded so we hiked the horse trails.  Try this calculation:  2,000 steps equals 1 mile. How many miles did we hike, if we took approximately 22,000 steps?Photo May 19, 10 04 39 PM

The SPL and ASPL, used the EDGE method to teach scouting skills including Firem’n Chip and Toten Chip.

A BIG thank you to William, our AWESOME SPL, for your patient leadership while everyone took a turn at cooking for rank advancement.

Troop 242 warmly welcomes six AOLs from Pack 48. Former AOL Den Leader, Bryan Mokry, commented, “Thank you for the warm welcome into the troop and for the wonderful show of support at the Bridging Ceremony.  I was blown away by the number of scouts that came out to welcome our boys.  We are looking forward to contributing and being a part of such a great organization.”
