Who doesn’t love a Court of Honor? A spread of delicious food and tasty treats! The troop gathered for our year-end Court of Honor and We celebrated the accomplishments of our Scouts, from merit badges to rank advancements. It was a great evening filled with fellowship & conversation. Here’s to more adventures in 2025!
Donovan completed his Eagle Scout Project for The Knights of Columbus parking blocks. This was a very large area with more than one building and he took on the challenge to help revitalize the front and sides of the parking area. Donovan led a team of volunteers to power wash and repaint 90 parking blocks. The repainting has significantly improved the look and functionality of the area. The Knights of Columbus and the community deeply appreciate Donovan’s hard work!
Troop 242 has its newest Eagle. Gavin did well with his Eagle Board. The board was extremely impressed with Gavin’s leadership possibilities and also his level of maturity. Great job Gavin!
Over the last few months, the troop has completed a high number of Eagle Scout Projects. Brody is the newest scout who recently completed his project at The Knights of Columbus. Brody powerwashed and repainted 46 parking blocks on the back-half of the Knights building over to the pavilion. These blocks definitely needed a makeover.
